Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, is no stranger to controversy and media scrutiny, but the past few weeks have dealt him a series of stinging setbacks.

At 39, the younger son of King Charles, who stepped down from senior royal duties in 2020, now resides in the U.S. with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two children, Archie and Lilibet.

Despite stepping away from royal life, the blows from his family seem relentless, leaving Harry at what many are calling a ‘tipping point.’

Royal expert Emily Andrews laid it bare in Woman magazine, writing, “It has been humiliation after humiliation for Prince Harry.”

The first of these humiliations occurred during Harry’s high-profile visit to the U.K. last month.

He attended the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games but failed to secure an audience with his father, King Charles.

The monarch, recently diagnosed with cancer, reportedly had a ‘full’ schedule, preventing the meeting.

Royal commentator Charlotte Griffiths suggested that King Charles’ decision might have been influenced by Harry’s demands.

“There is some talk that behind the scenes, a lot of negotiating went on,” Griffiths told GB News.

Harry’s conditions about who could be present during the meeting made it difficult for his father to comply.

Griffiths speculated that Prince William might have also played a role in the decision.

When it became clear that father and son would not meet, a spokesperson for Harry said, “The duke is understanding of his father’s diary of commitments and hopes to see him soon.”

The second snub came when Harry and Meghan were conspicuously absent from King Charles’ official birthday celebration and Trooping the Colour on June 15.

People magazine reported that the couple was not invited to the prestigious event.

Their last appearance at Trooping the Colour was in 2022, but they did not participate in the procession or the balcony appearance.

Despite their absence, the couple reportedly extended well wishes to Kate Middleton, who was returning to the spotlight after her cancer diagnosis.

The final humiliation came with Harry’s exclusion from the Duke of Westminster’s wedding.

Dubbed society’s wedding of the year, it was an event Harry and Meghan reportedly declined to attend, likely due to Harry’s strained relationship with his brother, Prince William.

Royal expert Andrews noted that Harry’s absence highlighted his feeling of being sidelined from Britain’s high society.

To understand the gravity of these snubs, let’s delve into Harry’s complex relationship with the royal family.

Born into royalty on September 15, 1984, Harry’s early life was marked by privilege and scrutiny.

The tragic death of his mother, Princess Diana, in 1997 profoundly affected him, leading to years of grief and rebellion.

Harry found solace in the military, serving two tours in Afghanistan and establishing the Invictus Games for wounded veterans.
