Archie, Lilibet make debut at Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s charity

For the first time, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet have stepped out alongside their famous parents — not at a royal event, but at a community kitchen in Los Angeles, quietly delivering a powerful message: thanksgiving means showing up and giving back.

This week, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex brought their two red-haired children to the Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles (OBKLA), where the family helped prepare and pack warm meals for struggling families, seniors, and shelters in crisis. Though Meghan kept their faces hidden, their bright ginger hair — unmistakably Sussex — was visible as they helped fill boxes with rice, minced meat, and colorful vegetables.

Meghan shared the touching moment on Instagram with a simple message splashed across the video:
“Show Up. Do Good.”

OBKLA, a community-powered nonprofit, serves over 70,000 meals every year to schools, shelters, senior homes, and families facing hardship. During the Sussex family’s visit, meals were sent to Mercy Housing, Pico Union Project, and PATH.

Royal watchers say the appearance wasn’t just heartwarming — it marked a symbolic shift. As British royals turned philanthropists, Meghan and Harry are showing the world they are raising their children not for privilege, but for purpose.

Their Archewell Foundation said it was honoring those who ensure “no one is left behind” this holiday season while encouraging donations to support OBKLA’s mission.

Since relocating to California, the Sussexes have increasingly focused on grassroots humanitarian work — from delivering meals with Project Angel Food, cooking with Homeboy Industries, to partnering with World Central Kitchen in 2025 to assist wildfire victims.

Now, with Archie and Lilibet stepping into the world of service — it seems the next generation is already learning how to turn compassion into action.
