Kate Middleton’s ‘remark’ to daughter Princess Charlotte about William’s appearance during VE Day celebrations

Kate Middleton reportedly shared a heartwarming remark with Princess Charlotte about Prince William during the VE Day celebrations.

Earlier this week, the Wales family joined in the commemorations by attending a military parade and watching a flypast from the balcony of Buckingham Palace. The event marked the 80th anniversary of VE Day (Victory in Europe Day), which celebrates Germany’s surrender in World War II.

On Monday, the Prince and Princess of Wales, along with their children, stood alongside King Charles and Queen Camilla to watch the military parade take place in London.

Speaking to The Sun, lip-reading expert Nicola Hickling shared what she believes Kate said to Charlotte about William’s outfit.

According to Nicola, Kate turned to Charlotte and said: Doesn’t papa look smart today.”

On Monday, senior royals came together to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day.

But it was the royal kids who grabbed most of the attention — especially little Prince Louis.

Prince Louis had people talking online again — from making funny faces to copying his big brother George by flipping his hair dramatically, he definitely caught attention.

A body language expert also noticed a moment during the flypast on the Buckingham Palace balcony where seven-year-old Louis seemed to correct his 11-year-old brother, George.

While speaking to The Mirror, expert Judi James highlighted the sweet sibling interaction.

Doesn’t papa look smart today.”

She explained:
Another sibling who was surprisingly keeping an eye on their brother at the other end of the balcony was, surprisingly, Louis. When the anthem was played, he stood to attention like his sister, but he suddenly turned to check out his older brother George behind him.

George was caught with his hands still clasped in front of his body and, in a complete turnaround, it was the normally playful Louis who seemed to quickly correct him before turning back.”

Elsewhere, on Thursday (May 8), senior royals gathered at Westminster Abbey for a special service to give thanks and honor VE Day.

Kate caught everyone’s attention in a polka dot dress as she attended the event alongside William, King Charles, Queen Camilla, Princess Anne, and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.

During the service, the royal family laid wreaths and took part in a two-minute silence.

The wreath from the Prince and Princess of Wales included a note that said: “For those who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Second World War. We will remember them.”

King Charles’ wreath carried the message: “We will never forget. Charles R.”
