The creator of *Suits* recently shared that Meghan Markle *”always”* has an *”open invitation,”* while speaking on the red carpet at the premiere of the show’s spinoff.

Meghan departed from her well-known role as Rachel Zane in 2018, just before marrying Prince Harry and officially becoming a member of the Royal Family.

In their first joint interview as a couple, Meghan described her decision to leave the show as *”a new chapter.”*

She explained: *”I don’t see it as giving anything up. I just see it as a change. It’s a new chapter, right?

“And also, keep in mind, I’ve been working on [Suits] for seven years. We were very, very fortunate to have that sort of longevity on a series.”*

Reflecting on her transition into royal life before she and Harry stepped down in 2020, Meghan added: *”I’ve ticked this box, and I feel very proud of the work I’ve done there, and now it’s time to work with [Harry] as a team.”*

“I think what’s been really exciting about this transition from my career to my new role is being able to dedicate even more energy to the causes that truly matter to me.”

Recently, Suits introduced its spinoff series, Suits LA, and the producer suggested he would be open to Meghan reprising her famous role.

While speaking on the red carpet, series creator Aaron Korsh said: “So, look, to me, we have thought about whether it be Meghan or any of the other cast members coming on and playing themselves as an actor.

“I think for me that’s a little … My brain blows up at the thought of that.

“So I think it blows up the world too much.”

However, he didn’t entirely dismiss the idea, as he remarked, **”Obviously, if Meghan wants to come back under any circumstances, Meghan can come back.”**

When asked whether the invitation would always stand, he firmly replied, **”Of course. Of course. Always. But I think realistically, it would be too much of an explosion of the fourth wall to do that. Yeah.”**

Still, Meghan’s return to acting might not be as far-fetched as it seems. She is set to debut a new Netflix series on March 4, *With Love, Meghan*, where she will be joined by various celebrity guests to share tips on cooking, gardening, and hosting.
