Meghan Markle leaves people divided after they spot ‘d.e.a.d dog’ in her latest video

Some social media users are convinced they’ve spotted what they believe to be Meghan Markle’s “dead dog” in one of her recent Instagram posts.

Royal fans may recall that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently experienced the heartbreaking loss of their family dog.

Last month, Meghan shared a touching video tribute on Instagram for their beloved beagle, Guy, revealing that he had sadly passed away.

In an emotional caption, the former Suits actress recounted how she had adopted Guy from a Canadian rescue shelter in 2015 and had affectionately called him “the little guy” due to his fragile condition at the time.

“He was with me at Suits, when I got engaged, (and then married), when I became a mom… he was with me for everything: the quiet, the chaos, the calm, the comfort,” Meghan wrote.

The trailer for her new series, With Love, Meghan, also featured Guy, prompting her to add, “I hope you’ll come to understand why I am so devastated by his loss. I think you may fall a little bit in love too.”

The heartfelt tribute included clips of Archie walking Guy alongside Prince Harry, as well as Lilibet playing with him at the park. Though the children were only shown from behind, their voices could be heard during several sweet moments, including one at the end where they sang a song together.

Recently, Meghan posted a video to her Instagram Story in which she was seen cutting strawberries into heart shapes with her children. At one point, a beagle appeared in the clip, leading to speculation online.

One person commented, “This is my recorded video of Meghan Markle’s Instagram video, and if I’m not mistaken, that dog is supposed to be dead?”

Another user added, “Loads of us noticed the dead dog. But people are saying she adopted another dog, so that’s probably it.”

Meanwhile, a third wrote, “Meghan Markle had two beagles. One died. There’s no magical dead dog in the Valentine’s Day video.”

A final user on X clarified, “Supposedly, that’s their second beagle.”

For those unfamiliar, Meghan and Harry had two beagles before Guy’s passing. The beagle seen in Meghan’s recent Instagram Story is actually their other rescue dog, Mamma Mia, whom they adopted in 2022.
