Barack and Michelle Obama ‘Locked in Bombshell D.i.v.o.r.c.e of the Century’ — And How It Is Set to Cost Power Couple a $70Million Fortune

Former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama are at the center of swirling divorce rumors, with reports suggesting a potential split could come with a hefty price tag.

The power couple has built an impressive and highly lucrative empire together, but if they go their separate ways, the financial stakes could be enormous—especially since they never signed a prenuptial agreement.

Last year, the Obamas’ net worth was estimated at an astounding $70 million, a dramatic increase from the modest $800,000 they had before moving into the White House in 2009.

During his presidency, Barack earned an annual salary of $400,000, and since leaving office, he has received a presidential pension of more than $207,000 per year.

However, their real fortune came after the White House. The couple secured a reported $60 million deal for their memoirs, launched an entertainment company to produce content for Netflix, created their own podcast series, and booked high-profile speaking engagements, which are believed to bring in as much as $400,000 per appearance.

In addition to their business ventures, they also own a real estate portfolio valued at around $20 million.

But with no prenuptial agreement in place, a legal battle over assets could be looming.

An insider shared: “When they split, which is looking more and more likely, it could turn into a nasty cash grab.”

Growing Signs of Trouble

Speculation about the state of their marriage has been circulating for years, but recent events have raised even more concerns.

A source close to the Obamas claimed: “Barack is ready to move on, and Michelle is too. She sacrificed so much for him over the years, and she’s finally putting herself first.”

Another insider alleged that the two are already living separately and that a divorce is inevitable, though it may be handled discreetly. “They’re already separated and living apart. Divorce will come later and quietly. For them to admit the failure is quite humiliating.”

Earlier this month, Michelle was noticeably absent from Jimmy Carter’s funeral ceremonies. RadarOnline.com reported that instead of returning home, she opted to extend her vacation in Hawaii.

She was also absent from President Trump’s inauguration, which left Barack sitting alone while other dignitaries were accompanied by their spouses.

The first source elaborated: “Michelle’s no stranger to putting duty above her personal feelings, but not this time. This is a major signal that she’s making changes and stepping away from the life she’s been stuck in for decades.”

A Marriage Under Strain

Barack and Michelle tied the knot in 1992 and celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary last year. However, making it to their 33rd might prove difficult.

Presidential marriages have endured scrutiny and scandals, but no former president has ever publicly ended their marriage. Even Donald Trump, who was divorced twice before taking office, has remained married to Melania.

For the Obamas, the demands of their high-profile lives appear to have taken a toll.

A source revealed that Barack placed immense pressure on Michelle to run for president, but she flat-out refused. “He’s been blaming her for Trump’s victory ever since.”

“They’ve been at each other since Election Day like cats and dogs. Truly venomous stuff.”

After years of putting her personal life on hold, Michelle reportedly feels it’s unfair to expect her to sacrifice even more time for politics.

The source explained: “And then to blame her for the Republican landslide is akin to twisting the knife. It really is beyond pale.

“Yes, she probably would have won if she had run, but she simply does not share his ambition and hunger for power. After her prior service, she believes enough is enough.”

Behind closed doors, their relationship is described as “heated, tense, and uncomfortable.” While they continue to present a united front in public, Michelle is said to be struggling.

Now, those close to her believe she has reached her breaking point.

“She’s tired of always being the one to bend, to sacrifice,” the source revealed. “She put Barack’s ambitions ahead of her own for years. But those days are over.”
