Regarding rumors that she is having an affair with Prince William, Rose Hanbury has spoken out.
Through her attorneys, Hanbury stated that the rumors “are completely false,” according to Business Insider.
Following Stephen Colbert’s late-night presentation of the affair claims on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” last week, Hanbury, 40, who is part of William and Kate Middleton’s tight circle, is in the news.
The apparent absence of Kate Middleton has caused a stir in the monarchy. Internet detectives are now speculating that Kate’s absence might be connected to an affair between her husband and William, the future monarch of England, Colbert stated during Tuesday’s show.
The comedian made fun of William’s supposed affair with Hanbury, which has been a rumor since 2019, amid the drama surrounding Middleton’s whereabouts. The 42-year-old Princess of Wales has seldom been spotted in public since undergoing stomach surgery in January.
Social media has been rife with wild ideas and conspiracy theories over Middleton’s disappearance from public view for weeks. (However, workers reportedly saw her at a farm close to Windsor Castle.)
William has disregarded inquiries concerning his wife’s health and her recuperation from her undisclosed medical problem, which has fueled online rumors.
Then there was the controversy over the Mother’s Day photo of Kate and her three children in the UK, which was removed by photo agencies after they claimed it had been “manipulated.”
However, as Colbert noted, the whispers have returned to suggest that Middleton’s lack of public attention is related to her husband’s purported infidelity.
On his broadcast, Colbert stated, “Oh no, my heart goes out to poor Kate.”

Hanbury has a long-standing relationship with the royal family. One of the bridesmaids at the 1947 wedding of the late Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip was her grandmother, Lady Elizabeth Lambart.
She married David Rocksavage, 7th Marquess of Cholmondeley, in 2009.
The pair resides at Houghton Hall, their family’s Norfolk estate, which is close to William and Kate’s house, Anmer Hall.
Photographs of William and Kate are often taken at the same events as the Cholmondeleys. They were present during the coronation of King Charles III in May 2023 as well as Elizabeth’s state funeral.
Along with William and Middleton’s oldest child, Prince George, their 15-year-old son, Lord Oliver Cholmondeley, was one of the pages of honor at the coronation.

Another allegation that was never confirmed was that Hanbury and Middleton were great friends before they allegedly fell out in 2019.
According to a screenshot supplied by Cosmopolitan, the Instagram gossip account Deuxmoi published a tip in 2022 stating that an adulterous affair between a British royal couple was “an open secret.”
Royal watchers concluded that the royal was William even though the message didn’t say so.
It was refuted by William’s lawyer, who told the Daily Beast that it was “false and highly damaging.”
